I love it when I travel to the Caribbean and get to see this station, because the weather guys are great and there outfits and props are absolutely hilarious.

The OneCaribbeanWeather website offers not only up to date weather, but also travel tips and a visitor guide for the Caribbean, so it is a great resource.

Comes in very handy especially for June through November which is prime hurricane season.

When I first started working with Sunny, I sent her and Emilie down months before to Cozumel so they could explore different places and see which all-inclusive resort fit best for what Emilie wanted.  After exploring different places, they decided to have the wedding and do their honeymoon at the Iberostar.

Sunny was great to work with and made it very easy to coordinate everything with Emilie & Colin and their guest.  I was so happy to hear that everyone had a great time and as a travel agent, that is always music to my ears.

Sorry i havent called you back or emailed yet. life has been busy since we got back from honeymoon! We LOVED El Dorado Royale!!! OMG!! That place was better than I ever expected! The beach was fantastic, the customer service was so perfect. We would go to a place and they would remember us, our names and what kind of drinks/food we liked!! The grounds were very well taken care of, it was fun when you would see a coconut fall on the ground from the trees! The restaurants were so delicious, we ate at all of them and loved D’Italia the best!! We went there twice We spend most our time at the Casitas Bar closest to beach and our bar tender Cesar was so cool! He made some really fun drinks and had a few drinking games up his sleeve to get the people at the bar involved…very fun!!! All I can say is that I dont want to go anywhere else in Mexico ever again, when we go back to Mexico we will go back here!! We did so much and had such a blast!! Come to find out after posting pics on facebook that I know 5 other couples that went there for their honeymoon too besides James and Kat Bell!! So that has to speak volumes for that resort!!! Here are a few pics from our trip that we would love to share with you!! Thanks again for your help in all of this. We got to use the massage coupon and the candlelight one too!!

Lake Tahoe Luxury Rental

Everytime the Honeymoon Guru flies for business or pleasure, I try my best to get either an exit row seat or bulkhead due to the extra leg room and the extra room it provides.  Most of the time I am able to get it, but sometimes I don’t and feel terrible for the next 3 hour or so long flight feeling compacted and having my knees hurt.  So, to really see if this is a good deal for future travel I did an experiment this morning.  I am going to Hawaii in September to update myself on properties and have a few days of relaxation and I am flying coach of course and I got a great deal on the flight about 4 months ago with American.  So I called this morning to see if I could upgrade to first class or business and how much that would be.  Well as I figured, it was almost an additional $1,000 for me to upgrade to first class.  On the flipside, this new premium coach seat charge is only going to be about an additional $120 roundtrip for me to get a bulkhead seat for a 8.5 hour flight and I get a modified perk to say of being in first class and being able to board early etc.   In my mind, this is pretty good and definitely something I think each and everyone of my clients who are flying American should consider, especially for a long flight.

American Airlines on Wednesday said it would begin selling some premium coach seats through its airport checkin kiosks, with pricing starting at an additional $19, based on length of haul.

American said the new Express Seat offering, part of its Your Choice suite of a la carte services, would allow passengers for a fee to reserve seats in the first few rows of the coach cabin, including bulkhead seats, while also allowing those who purchase the option to be among the first group to board.

American, however, said it still would allow its passengers to “pre-reserve other seats in the coach cabin at no charge,” while elite members of its AAdvantage program still would have access to coach seats not covered by the Express Seats offering.

Introductory pricing shared by American ranges from an additional $19 per leg for a short-haul flight from St. Louis to Chicago and up to $39 for such long-haul flights as New York to Los Angeles.

We have used Skip and Amy to make all of our travel arrangements for the last several years, so when it was time to start thinking about our honeymoon, letting him take care of the details was the only option there was.  He and Amy are wonderful at their jobs and customer service is their top priority.  They helped us narrow down our list of places that we had in mind to a few great choices and after talking to a few of their past clients, we decided on our dream honeymoon location.  They called our resort before we arrived and the staff at the resort took extra good care of us.  Everything was perfect and effortless.  We cannot thank them enough for all of their help!

I am so sorry I have not gotten back with you until now. We have been very busy really ever since we got back from Hawaii. I started 2-a-day practices at work and in all the busyness of opening a new school I just forgot.

We had a wonderful time in Hawaii, we absolutely loved it and we will use you again for our future trips. Turtle bay was a great resort and with the exception of a few hiccups we enjoyed our entire stay.  We would recommend Turtle Bay Resort to anyone.  Especially to those looking for a peaceful and laid back vacation.

Having Skip book our travel and lodging accommodations allowed us to focus our research efforts on the “fun stuff” of our trip to Hawaii.  Since we visited four islands, he arranged for four lovely hotels, four rental cars, and six air trips, saving us a lot of time and stress.  We were pleased with all of these arrangements and had a wonderful time!
